burgs« gravy fries | main | palm springs »03.06.2008 tech exciting new iphone updates. the highlights: (in my opinion) - Next iPhone update to include: Push Email, Push Calendar, Push Contacts, Global Address List, Cisco VPN, WPA2/ 802.1x, Security Policies, Device Config, Remote Wipe. AOL native AIM (instant messaging), just installed this. if you use microsoft outlook its a must. i'm a big google calendar person since it can be accesed anywhere. this allows me to sync to my outlook (thus allowing me to synch to my iphone). i was doing this another way using freeware but that just allowed a one way sync. trust me this is a much cleaner way to do this. i'm actually using google docs alot now (especially for the wedding planning spreadsheets). its way better to use this than emailing a document back and forth. so said burgs @ 11:47 | guestbook | bookmark | board | comments: nerd!.. Just kidding. sweet remote outlook syncing. Cool! Since the IT nazis at my company will not support iPhone this gives me a way to be completely mobile. no more hard syncing at my computer everytime i have a schedule change! You complete me Burgs :) Tenn so said tenn @ 03. 6.08 16:52 i knew u would appreciate this. have u installed it? i was so surprised how EASY it was. also question: r u gonna get a new iphone when the 3g version come out this summer? so said b @ 03. 6.08 17:48 Burgs, Jeebus,i spent 6bills on this one. I don't know if my wallet can take another hit! maybe. Maybe i'll sell my body for sex or something to get the new one. one thing, I noticed that any appointment that I did not create did not sync up. I wonder if there's an option in my setting to synch it. so said Tenn @ 03. 6.08 19:07 post a comment |
