burgs« 24-7 | main | no heroes tonight »12.06.2007 andruw jones tough loss to memphis. another rough game for taj. the only thing i can take from that game and the kansas one is that we can hang with any team in the country. now we just have to focus on closing out. hopefully we'll figure out the puzzle before we play the bruins. trying to figure it out but i think i'm finally gonna move my burgs@burgs.net email to gmail. should be good. i'm debating putting up the google ads on my site but i don't want to totally sell out. had half of one of my finals yesterday and a presentation in my monday class. grad school is going great right now and i'm doing much better than i could have possible imagined. staying focused will be key for me. and the dodgers got andruw jones. good deal in and of itself. if this means benching pierre (and admitting the huge mistake with last years signing) or miraculously trading pierre away, becomes a great deal. if it means trading ethier away and starting pierre, still an ok deal. but if it means trading away kemp to start pierre and ethier, it becomes a horrible deal. thank god for moneyball. it always gives me perspective when reviewing all the offseason action. so said burgs @ 12:44 | guestbook | bookmark | board | comments: post a comment |
