so here's the gameplan. if i follow this to a tee, i win. whether or not my body and mind will allow me is a different story.

at mile 14, i make a decision, if i'm not at under 1:44, i'll have no shot at the 3:10 and will slow down a bit just to guarantee that i get a pr around 3:20 (slow down to 7:45 per). shooting for the 3:10 risks everything blowing up in my face and being forced to walk mile 25 (see la marathon 07) and getting something around 3:30 which is what i don't want.

so far this year, i've ran my fastest 5k, fastest 10 mile, fastest half. lets hope i run my fastest full and maybe more...
